The fine folks of the Goodland Arts Council brought us out for their annual spaghetti dinner and art auction. It was a nice drive (a good strong wind got those turbines really moving at the edge of the Flint Hills outside of Salina - wow, energy creation was never so majestic!) and a beautiful evening with gracious and enthusiastic audience members. Maria even ended up with the winning bid on a beautiful cookie jar.
